As Director of Content Development at Here Media, home to Out, The Advocate, Here TV, and Here Films, where I led the creative and editorial engine behind one of the most culturally significant LGBTQ+ media portfolios in the country. I produced and wrote over 30 hours of monthly on-air and digital content, serving as producer and writer and producer on original series including Culture Beat, Boombox, Just Josh!, She’s Living for This, and Threesome, and as associate producer on 30 Years from Here (my first Emmy-nominated documentaries), and Heart of Broadway: The Ensemble Behind Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
My work culminated in producing and writing A World of Dreams: Voices from the Out100, my second Emmy-nominated documentaries from my time there. I also supervised a team of 20+ writers, editors, videographers, and influencers, while driving significant advertising revenue through branded content partnerships with Macy’s, Wells Fargo, Chevy, and Gillette. This chapter in my career was defined by innovative, diverse, and purposeful storytelling surrounded by a scrappy, talented group.
